Rewaxing a waxed jacket is essential, not only to maintain its waterproof qualities but also to minimise fabric wear. The process of rewaxing a waxed jacket is rather intricate and time-consuming, and proceeds as follows:

25 min: Brushing the jacket to remove dust and mud

10 min: Warming up the jacket

45 min: Applying the wax

45 min: Melting the wax into the fabric

30 min: Quality control for any irregularities

24 hours: Drying and settling in a warm environment
