Mr. Darcy Downpour's reproofing service fully booked. See you in 2026

When I started a few years ago, I never imagined I'd find myself writing this message. At present, I'm simply overwhelmed with work. What this means is that I can no longer take on new clients for my reproofing and re-waxing service.

Over the past six months, I've re-waxed approximately 50 jackets on commission. It's work I undertake with tremendous pleasure. However, it isn't an endeavour from which I can make a living, far from it in fact. Consequently, I also maintain a full-time position elsewhere. This naturally limits my available time to weekends and evenings. Regrettably, this means I cannot accept any new bookings for reproofing services through to April 2026.

I'm essentially fully booked, which in practical terms means I can manage approximately 2-3 jackets per week, if I have the possibility. I'm exploring ways to continue offering this service, perhaps by bringing someone on board to help ease the pressure, but for the time being, I'm afraid you'll need to tackle it yourself.

That said, it really isn't complicated. I've already written several articles detailing my approach and the tools and supplies you might need.
